BRAVO HYDROGEN BOMB TEST, the largest weapon ever tested by the
United States, which occured on Bikini Atoll, March 1, 1954.

Captain Christan L. Engleman,
Jr., USN, (W3RC, SK 1906-1995) was the officer in charge of the
electronics phase of the expedition.
With him was a group of operators and support personnel:
Edward H. Shuler (W6OVE, later K6DT, chief op), Dick Frazier
(W7KAQ), Harold Tingey (W2UEI), Thomas Austin (ex-W8RUJ) and W.
E. Glenn.
