CN8JX 1958 Morocco
Operator: Major Glenn H. Luse, also W7GGO
Here is Glenn with his family. Glenn was the CQWW CW SOAB World Winner in 1958 and 1959.
Glenn has been in the U.S. Air Force since 1940, as communications and flying officer, serving as Base, Group, Div., and Communications Sqdn. Commander. Glenn was educated at Washington State College and Eastern Washington College of Education. Glenn is married with 2 girls and twin boys. Other hobbies are hunting, fishing, skeet and trap shooting, and wood working. Amateur radio honors, aside from his top contest scores, include WAS, WAC, WAZ, and DXCC from CN8JX.
Glenn has been helping the DX Magazine as a forwarding agent for copies of "DX" to DXers on the European and African continents.
Further problems on the local plane are contained in a rumor that all amateur radio operations in Morocco will be curtailed about January 1, 1960. This is currently only a rumor but it sounds like it could happen, Glenn says.
