Pictured above is Lucia Santos Tome, CR7LU, Beira, Mozambique, one of the most popular of the DX YL operators. Licensed in 1952, married, Lucia is a Radio Officer for the local governmental radio department, working in radio aids for aircraft. Her amateur radio awards include DXCC, WBE, WGSA, and BERTA.
