XZBP 1946 Burma

Nice card from Rangoon for a QSO on 11 July 1946, with VU2BP, British Military, Royal Signals in India.
VU2WP's card shows that his home QTH is in Scotland.
The message on the back of the XZBP card is interesting and looks very genuine.
The operator is " Jock " and mentions a GM call when he will be back home in Scotland.
Should the call have been XZ2BP? Perhaps an "undercover" callsign. Notice the skull and crossbones on the card!
