After seeing Lulu Bay, Navassa, we had to make a trip back to Haiti to get a smaller boat. It was too dangerous to take our boat The "Empress" close to the cliffs with the crashing waves.
The customs corporal, with friends, meeting the "Empress" on our arrival at Dame Marie, Haiti. This is the rowboat, which we subsequently hired and took with us to Navassa, complete with its captain, the man standing on the stern and handling the tiller.
