HP5A 1938 Panama

Frequency listed on the card of 11,700 Kc. This would be 11.7 Mhz short wave radio.

Every now and then my father would recite "hache pe cinco ahh h h h h h," almost like it was an expression. I asume, that was their jingle. 1938 would be about right -- my dad was there then, working on the canal.
