KA1JP 1939 Philippines

Operator: Capt. John Kuyendall "Jack" Pickering, KA1JP, was a veteran of World War II.
He was born April 21, 1885 and became a Silent Key November 16, 1953.
According to his headstone in the Arlington Cemetery, he served in Headquarter Detachment, 61st Infantry, 16th Division, U. S. Army.
