The boat on his QSL card is his Schooner "Yacht Lattitude."
He opened his office in Manilla in 1926 and remained in the Philippines during World War II.
He was active with the guerrilla forces in the Philippines during the war and was killed while trying to deliver money to American prisoners of war.
