Desecheo Island didn't become a seperate ARRL DXCC entity until March 1, 1979.

KV4KV was John Ackley KP2A.
Also along on this DXpedition was W0DX, Robert Denniston VP2VI, who was past president of the ARRL 1966 - 1972,
and past president of IARU 1966 - 1974.
