ZS1A 1984 South Africa

Ian McGregor ZS1A was a good friend of mine. He also held VQ2IM and ZE1AU years ago. When I was transferred to ZS4AU, 1970 to 1980, Ian asked me for my call that was also my fathers call ZS1AU. When I returned to ZS1, ten years later, Ian let me have my old call back. Ian then got ZS1A which he wanted for CW. Ian became a SK in 1993.
