K6BX 1961 Bonita, California

Chief Radio Electrician Clifton Evans, Jr., U.S. Navy rose to the rank of Commander. He was also a naval aviator. He published a book of amateur radio awards. According to his OOTC bio, his first two-way wireless contact was in 1919. His list of callsigns includes K6BX, K6HLP, W6HLP, 4CY, W4DJ, W4GZA, W7HGW and W6BXV.
He was  born in 1905 and became a Silent Key in 1979.
