Elvin W. Feige, W6TT, ex-W6CAZ and W6ARF, Silent Key (1906-2001).
He was president of Elmar Electronics of Oakland, California, a wholesale distributor of electronic parts and equipment. He and Mario Chirone, W6DUB, Silent Key (1913-2006), formed a partnership in 1945 and purchased the Electric Supply Company, which became Elmar Electronics, a publicly-held corporation. Elmar later became a subsidiary of Wyle Electronics.
