Joe was "a great American hero" at least in the minds of his friends in Augusta, GA and around the world I guess.
He worked at the Augusta National Golf Course each year making the video for the club with the Amateur Radio Club of Augusta.
He met many people like Ernie Ford, who attended each year. I am referring to the "Masters."
