5AFE 1925 Rayne, Louisiana

Notice the statement on the top left of the card; "Care of Sunset Lines".
The Sunset Lines was a train that would go through town. In the early years everything surrounded the railroad.
5AFE belonged to RL Ross from Rayne, La. He was a telegraph operator for Western Union and operated the Ham in his spare time.
The person who gave me the information was taught by RL how to build and
use a Ham. He is 88 and remembers the events very well.
