U1MR 1928 Milton, Massachusetts

CMDR Edmund Peter Drozek, U.S.N.R., W1RK, ex-W1MR and 1MR, went to sea at an early age as a merchant seaman radio operator -- he traveled the world.
His brother Frank does not appear in any callbook. The operator who signed this card was Willis B. Jardine, later W1GF.
When Edmund filled out his World War Draft Registration Card he was employed by the Radio Corp. of America in Boston. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was born March 19, 1909 in Suffolk County, MA and became a Silent Key February 13, 1963 in Reading, MA.
