The operator was Julius Joel Gallian, W9JNG, later W0JNG.
He was the owner of Gallian Photo Studio in Caruthersville, Missouri.
During a flood in his area he was praised by local officials for handling messages.
He was born March 12, 1890, and became a Silent Key February 17, 1972.
