Dr. Wightman ran the station at Doane and helped Bill W3AZ get his first license.
Lyle Quinn was a ham friend of my father's their entire lives.
The note with the card sounds like he sent several but I've only found one. 
And the card's printer made a common misspelling on our family name, dropping the "a" from Leavitt, LOL!
