On the street in Shanghia, China, a young man cut in paper this profile of Rex Parcels. He brought it home and used it to make this QSL card.

The operator was Cmdr Rex Lewis Parcels, Sr, U.S. Navy, Retired, K7AZ, ex-W6WDR and W9RQE.
He was born May 8, 1918 and became a Silent Key June 26, 2005.

His son Rex Lewis Parcels, Jr. was a Navy aviator. He did not return from a combat flight in 2005.
