Here is a rare  YL to YL contact in 1928. The interesting thing about it it doesn't look like they knew it was YL to YL because Bertha calls her an ob (old boy).

Frances 3AKB could definitely be a male or a female name so maybe that is why she didn’t know?
Frances Violet Rice was licensed as W3AKB in 1927 and was the only licensed female operator in PA at the time.
She became W3AVQ in 1928.
In 1945 she married Eppa Webster Darne who was 3BWT, just a few months after his first wife Louisse died.

Frances said she often let other people think that she was an OM.
