Started in 1953 at station WFIL-TV, Channel 6, in Philadelphia, PA, Larry worked for 40 years and played organ on "The Larry Ferrari Show". At the end of each of Ferrari's broadcasts, he always played a religious selection. Larry also played organ on "Dialing for Dollars".

On Thursday, November 16, 2000 at the Bala Golf Club, Larry Ferrari was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia.

Well-known ham and TV personality Larry Ferrari WA2MKI, of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, died November 20, 1997. He was 65 and had been suffering from cancer.
