2AQY 1925 Sea Cliff, Long Island, New York

Here is an awesome hand drawn QSL from May 29th, 1925 by 2AQY who was Albert Kniskern Edgerton.
He was first issued the call sign 2AQY in 1925 while living in Sea Cliff, NY then became W4OO in St. Petersburg, FL in 1927 then finally W6EDF in Pomona, CA in 1938.
He owned the Western Instruments Company and converted his business from custom instrument design and construction to the engineering, design and construction of underwater networking.
He was a member of the Precision Measurements Association and received the Andrew J. Woodington Award at the Measurements Science Conference In 1982.
The award is awarded annually to an individual who represents the highest level of professionalism and dedication to the metrology profession. He held numerous U.S. Patents.

He was born February 8, 1908 in Sea Cliff, New York and became a Silent Key February 10, 2000 in Santa Maria, California.
