Lou was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Glenville High School and Ohio State University. He served in the Army WWII from 1943 to 1947. After OCS he was stationed in the Phillipines. Lou was a passionate Ham Radio Operator in the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
