Jewell's QSL card showed him as a YL. This was a spoof!

Jewell was elected Master of Lodge 554 in Newark, OH on 13 Nov 1942 (F&AM).
He was elected president of the Newark Radio Club in 1932.
He accepted a position with PAA (Pan American) and served in Guatemala (TG9JK) during the mid 40s – position was radio mechanic.
He arrived in Miami in the mid 50's with PAA and expired there in Miami 11 Jun 1981.
