W8ZES, W8ZET 1949 Ashland, OH

Popular regional twin brothers; Jack Hire W8ZES 1929 - 2004 and W8ZET Jim Hire 1929 - 2002. Both Hire brothers contributed to the Ashland / Mansfield, Ohio region and nation in their day. Both the twins had Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue Univ. Jim's wife Janeen now holds his call W8ZET. She goes to the Dayton Hamvention every year and her photo can be found in most Dayton Galleries on this site.
