Dave was a good friend.
I did 40M CW on field day with him for a couple years.
Dave was very good on CW and could hear the week ones down in the noise as good as anyone. K8CX

Dave Mackey WA8TNO loved a good pileup, both SSB and CW.
He enjoyed the WARA (Warren Amateur Radio Assn.) and 146.97 repeater.
Dave worked top band to 2 meters. In later years he had a gun sales business. W8SU
