Former members of the WARA (Warren, Ohio Amateur Radio Assn.) and officers - Ed Byers WB8WMS and his wife Evelyne Byers Rogers WD8KEM. They were a popular couple in the 70's-80's in Trumbull County, Ohio. They had two children, Eddie Jr and Roberta. Eddie Jr. is on watch (below) at the console checking for DX. They had a contest grade station with steel towers constructed by Ed who was a professional welder.
Ed was ZL0AEO in 1982 from New Zealand.

Little Eddie joined the Navy and eventually settled out in the Sacramento, CA area as a commercial driver, he also is a talented drummer.

We recall Ed enjoyed popular music and especially the work of Linda Ronstadt.
