Charles R. Gilfert, 85, of Walker Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania died Feb. 26, 2006 at home.
He was retired from Bundy Tubing Corp., Hometown, and ran a bicycle repair shop from home.
For 12 years, he played the organ at the miniature golf course of Heislers Dairy Bar, Lewistown Valley.
Born in Tamaqua, PA., he was the son of the late Charles A. and Leah M. (nee Bensinger) Gilfert.
He was a member of St. John U.C.C., Tamaqua.
He was a Tamaqua High School graduate and a World War II veteran.
