W8MSP 1935 Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania

This is W8MSP, Merle D. Gow 1907-2000 Born in Meadville, Pa. and held various communications and police posts including Sheakleyville, Pa. and Deputy in Mercer County, Pa., Ohio Highway Patrol Communications then duties as Patrolman and Chief in Galion, Ohio. Then California Highway Patrol as Senior Radio operator and Air Transport Command, Pacific Division, as Flight Navigation and Radio Flight Operator during WW2.

His family moved to the Sacramento area and Wilton, CA in 1958 where he entered the realty business and studied at University of California system and McGeorge School of Law. He maintained his brokers license until 1985. He enjoyed deer hunting, outdoors and spent many hours working in the fields or orchards at their home. He was interested in construction and designed and built two homes. Survived by wife Maurine and six children, two brothers and nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He expired at age 93 in Wilton, CA.
