Mildred S. Lorentson 1AID was of Swedish descent, reared in Providence, RI to John (insurance investigator) and Matilda Lorentson - one older sister Lillian. Mildred attended Hope Street High School Providence, R.I. Her yearbook picture affixed. It was said Mildred showed fine ability in Morse Code. She rests at Zion Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.
At times for what reasons unknown, a gifted life is cut short.
