W5CU Texas

This is a photo of Edward Harvey Cunningham, W5CU, and his wife, Velma C. Cunningham, W5NWR, who were residents of Zapata, Texas since 1944.
They moved to Zapata when Edward retired from the U.S. Customs. Velma was an attorney.
The call W5CU dates back to the late 1920's.
They are both Silent Keys: Edward (1897-1978) and Velma (1902-1978).
