Dick Spenceley was president of YASME Foundation from 1959 - 1965!

Dick was #4 in the CQ DX Hall of Fame in 1969. He was DX editor of CQ Magazine 1951 - 1959.

Richard Colby "Dick" Spenceley, Sr., ex-4AAN & K4AAN, U.S. Virgin Islands, Silent Key (1905-1982).

He served in the U.S. Navy beginning in 1925 and was assigned to Naval Radio Station NBB, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands by 1926. He was soon active as 4AAN and the next year as K4AAN.

Spenceley, son of Joseph Winfred Spenceley and Mary C. Holbrook, was born September 14, 1905 in Newton, Massachusetts and died July 30, 1982.
