I remember as a kid in the 1950s, when we lived on St. Croix, USVI, and Dad was KV4BB, he was a popular DX contact and was very involved in sending and receiving QSL cards. I loved looking thru his large collection of them, and I particularly remember how he became enamored of a touristy postcard in the local apothecary, and ordered several hundred copies of it to have a local printer silkscreen his callsign on it. I went to your website and found that you have a nice copy of his KV4BB card showing the Hotel On The Cay on the small island in the harbor of Christiansted, with guests being rowed across the harbor to their check-in. That sure brought back good memories ... thanks for that! It sure brings back thoughts of an idyllic childhood. Dad was the electronics man assigned to St. Croix by the CAA -- the predecessor agency of today's FAA.
