In that year there were no licenses in EA but some people uses "pirate" callsigns, generally respecting the district. Rio de Oro (now RASD - S0) was a Spanish province with EA9 prefix.
The operator Juan Jose Muñoz Soriano was EA8PR from Canary Island in 70's.
