send by "FL" callsign of the "Tour Eiffel",
in Paris.
At this time, Richard was in "Champagne" , - Chemin aux
Dames - a big battle during WWI, My great uncle is dead "au
Chemin aux Dames"...
Richard F8QQ was after WWI "FI8QQ" at Saigon -
French Indochina".

The future 8QQ, already a SWL since 1910 in Paris, presently
listening to the bi-daily communiqué from "FL", the
Eiffel Tower, on 2700m with a makeshift galena receiver,
in a shelter dug under the graveyard of Mesnil les Hurlus,
Champagne region
