G-AYB 1929 Wiesbaden, Germany

This QSL from July 15, 1929, is interesting in various ways. It evidently belonged to a british military officer (Mr. N.G. Newell) that was stationed in Wiesbaden in 1929 with a G-call. The G-call is a little bit odd as it starts with a G, then a dash, then a three letter suffix. The odd thing is however that the first letter in the suffix is an Ä (an A with two dots used in a few countries, but normally never for ham calls). So, checked Google and found out that the British Rhine Army was stationed there 1919-1929. The QSO info is very precise and informative. On the back of the card is a stamp saying "Via R.S.G.B. LONDON". I checked the geographical coordinates and it corresponds to Wiesbaden. The card is in a very good shape.
