JZ0PH 1961 Netherlands New Guinea

Operator: Joop Hesp (was also ZS6C).

Joop JZ0PH was very active for nearly 3 years from Biak while working for the Royal Netherlands Navy as a civilian radio technician.
He did maintenance work at the local Navy radio station.
His contract expired October 1961. He and his XYL and 2 daughters left for home in Holland.
