VK9YT 1951 Territory of New Guinea

Rev. Father Carl Joseph Zimmer, M.S.C., VK9YT, W8KJT, was ordained in 1946 at the Sacred Heart Seminary (Missionaries of the Sacred Heart), Shelby, Ohio.
He spent 17 years as a missionary in the Territory of New Guinea.
He was born June 22, 1920 and passed away  August 3 1979.
