This is me, Tom Roscoe, V26X, K8CX... All the equipment is mine except for the Alpha 76 amp. It was sitting there, so I used it. I went down by myself (and paid off my sweetheart wife). I went down for 6 days and made 7400 contacts, including 3640 contacts in the ARRL 10 Meter contest. The place was setup for ham radio. The cottage was a bit Islandy. I don't think the wives would like it much. The door doesn't close, the screens in the windows were broken, plenty of misquotes to go around, a resident rat, pigs that try to get in durring the night, and so much DX to work that you won't be able to work it all. The pileups were astounding. It was great!
