Nomination Procedure

The Heritage CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame is to recognize individuals who have demonstrated significant contributions/achievements in amateur radio.
This includes not only personal operating results but also endeavors that have benefited the broader amateur radio community.

To submit a nomination, the following information is required:

• Your full name, callsign, email address (if different than the one used).
• Name of person being nominated.
• Is the person being nominated living or SK.
• Callsign of person being nominated (list multiple callsigns if available).
• If the nominee is still living, list their current contact information. QRZ.com can be used.
• List a complete description of the nominee’s accomplishments/achievements and why it is believed they should be elected to the Heritage CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame.

Nominations should be sent directly to K8CX via email at: k8cx@hamgallery.com. Be sure to put "CQ AMATEUR RADIO HALL OF FAME" in the subject line.

Nominations are held from January 1st to February 28.

Upon receipt of all applications, each nomination will be reviewed/voted upon by the Heritage CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame committee members. Once the nominees have been notified, the public announcement of each successful nominee will be made. You will be notified by March 15 if your nominee was accepted or declined.

Note: Unsuccessful nominations are not carried over. They may be resubmitted in subsequent years.
