G5WQ and Barbara Dunn G6YL.
This photo was taken around 1929/1930 at the house in Great Crosby Liverpool where he lived when he wasn't working as a ships radio operator for Marconi Company and sailing round the globe,
Reg and Barbara were part of the same family, "related" by the association of their parents, albeit their parents were not married. Reg's son Peter told me they weren't.
Peter told me he always referred to Barbara as "Aunt Barbara" for her whole life.

Barbara's mother was associated with Reg's father after Barbara's father died. He left Barbara his wealthy estate.
Barbara had the money and her mother had next to nothing, hence how she became aquainted with Reg's father .
Barbara and Reg got on very well, were always in touch via radio.
I think Reg's sister Muriel took the photo.
The photo is in a photo album of Reg Witty's son Peter.
