M1A 1947 Republic of San Marino
Hi Max... I have not had the
pleasure of meeting him. The radio amateur you are asking me
about was Prof. Corrado Francini, unfortunately sk.
He was a mathematics teacher in high school (liceo) and was the
first radio amateur in San Marino.
Our club is in fact registered in his name.
I believe he had obtained authorization from the English
authorities for the liberation of San Marino at the end of World
War II (probably the prefix M1 then changed to T7 had this
legacy). Mario T77TB
