Tribute to Roland Claire Sutton W8CMS
1906 - 2001

Claire W8CMS the Dean of Six meters in the Region, he was the First W8 to obtain WAS on Six. His 48th state was with W7EPZ in Montana. He had the rig on Six 24-7. One could hear the white noise from the front door.

He got several generations interested in 6 Meters. He loved hamfests, espeically Dayton and attended most of em until his death.
