W8FRY Donald A. Hoffman

World War I military service: U.S. Army, 7th Service Company, Signal Corps at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Promoted to Private First Class May 10, 1919, Corporal August 1, 1919. When he registered for the World War I draft he was employed as a clerk for the B. F. Goodrich Company in Akron, Ohio.

When he registered for the World War II he signed the card as Donald A. Hoffman Lt. Cmdr USNR.

Donald A. Hoffman, son of Edward J. and Maude M. Hoffman, was born February 3, 1898 in Rock Creek, Ohio. He died in Ohio in 1956.
