W6MHB/MM was pretty good DX for me in 1955. I was still in high school operating from an apartment building in Evanston IL. There were 24 apartments in that building and I'm sure each had TVI from me. Most had antennas on the roof - along with my dipole fed with twin-lead. Not a pretty picture - (pardon the pun).
