9K2AZ 1960 Kuwait

It seems that 9K2AZ lost his license by inquiring (for Vic W1TYQ) for permission to operate in the Kuwait/Saudi Neutral Zone.
It seems that the Kuwait T&T was unaware that an American was licensed in Kuwait.
This was in February 1960. In June 1961 Jackob Laib HB9TL of Switzerland was authorized to operate in the Kuwait/Saudi Neutral Zone as 9K3TL/NZ.
Operating in the Kuwait/Saudi NZ with Jackob was Vic W1TYQ, Rundy OD5CT, and G3OFI.
In 1965, Vic did get permission to operate in the Kuwait/Saudi NZ as HZ3TYQ/8Z5. It seems that permission came from the Saudi government, not Kuwait.
