This is a list of the Old Timer Hams of the Shenango Valley

The Shenango Valley is made up of (at least) 9 communities from Western Pennsylvania and 2 communities from Ohio.
They are Sharon, Hermitage (formally Hickory Township), Farrell, Sharpsville, West Middlesex, Wheatland, Clark, Transfer, Greenville, Brookfield Ohio, and Masury Ohio.

For this listing, we will define an Old Timer as anyone who was licensed 1962 or before. This will add quite a few valley hams to the list. If someone wants to do newly listed hams in 1963, I will make a new page. Make sure they don't appear on this page.

We are not exactly sure of the year first licensed of most of the 1920's old timers listed below. The dates listed are the dates that we have proof, such as a QSL card or callbook listing.

Here is a very good listing of current and past hams in Mercer County, Shenango Valley, and surrounding area by Cory Gibson W3JL / W3CDG:

Here is a list of current hams in the Shenango Valley (including Hubbard) compiled by Cory Gibson W3CDG. It comes out to 377 hams as of July 30, 2014. The list is in xlsx format.

The list has been put in alphabetical order of callsigns, not dates.
